Viveka Yoga Centre in South France

Our Yoga Centre is situated in the wild and romantic landscape of Aude, between the
Mediterranean coast and the Pyrenees, near the spanish border, aside of villages and cities. About one hour drive from Carcassonne.

The district of Aude, once the land of the Cathars (a christian sect of ascetics, established in the 12th century), it is a place of history and old tradition with medieval, picturesque villages.

20 minutes drive form our Yoga Retreat Centre is Rennes Les Bains, a 16th century medieval village and famous for its hot natural springs. You can take there a free bath or visit the local spa.

The general climate in this area is mediterranean, with pleasant hot summers and moderate springs and autumns.

You can expect to get 300 days of sunshine a year.
