Here at the Viveka Family Yoga Holidays children from the age of 3 are welcomed.
Viveka is a family run Yoga Retreat, and home to two children : Lucy and Boyan. The languages spoken are English, French and German.

The Viveka Yoga Holidays Centre is set in beautiful woodland, that is a wonderful environment for children to learn and play
safely in nature.

The "Family and yoga" are specially designed for children and their parents. If the children feel like it, they can also have a yoga session after the parents morning session.

While the parents attend the yoga class, we take care of thechildren and propose them varied activities.

Children workshop :

Let the child bloom through the artistic creation.

Various workshops are proposed: sculpture workshop with materials offered by the nature, workshop circus, singing songs, making felts and other workshops, according to the inspiration and the request of the children.

A typical day at the family yoga centre :

You stand up and have your breakfast whenever you like. You help yourself in the common kitchen for your breakfast.

9.30 first yoga session based on postures and conscious breathing.

12.30 lunch taken all together in the garden or inside in case of rain (yes, it can also rain in South France !). After each meal, everybody does its own washing up.

Free time for all.

17.00 second yoga session with an introduction of the Yoga Sutra of Patanjali : the philosophy of yoga and its relation in our daily life,
followed by a more relaxing session with the aim of developping the conscious breathing.

19.30 evening meal and evening time together.


On Sunday if everybody is up for it, we take a day off and go to a lovely local market, get our picnic there and go and have lunch and spend the afternoon by a river with hot spring water (or swimming pool with hot spring water).

At least once we have an earlier afternon session and then go to a beautiful lake, spend the rest of the day there, can have diner there and watch the sun set or go home for diner (we are easy and adapt to what feels better for each group).
